Michael and his crew (Terrance and Marco) were quite simply incredibly polite, capable and professional in every possible way.
Everyone was asking for business cards, so I know others were equally impressed.
While I hope that any other necessary move will be in the distant future, I would not hesitate to use Lone Star again. Everyone told me their "war stories" about unsuccessful moves, and I was understandingly apprehensive.

LoneStar just finished moving my daughter.
Mike and his crew arrived on time and had their truck filled in under an hour-and-a-half. They wrapped delicate items and took pains to see to it that her furniture and belongings were handled very carefully. Mike, Kyle & Dan are a great team! They moved us the day after a snow storm at 9AM.
Nothing was broken, scratched or even wet.
My new carpeting wasn't ruined and they made the move less

My family and I moved from Rockville Centre to Huntington Village last week with Lonestar Long Island Moving Company.
It is weren't for this company I don't know what we would have done.
Unfortunately, we had to relcoate due to Hurricane Sandy. I read all the online reviews about this moving company as was impressed with them automatically.
Paul our foreman and his team of 3 other movers were polite, upbeat, organized and extremely professional. They wrapped all our furniture to protect against damages (at no extra charge) and took such great care of all our belongings.
When we called initially for a moving quote I spoke with Renee Cuocco. She was pleasant, well educated, friendly and super professional as well.
The lines of communication were always open and remained consistent. This professionalism made our moving day simple and easy.
I will not hesitate to contact this moving company to move us again and will gladly refer their services.
Not the cheapest of moving companies, but I feel well worth the money. Do not hesitate to contact them, you will be happy you did.

This was by far the most professional moving company I've ever hired.
I almost felt like I didn't move because literally 95% of the stress was removed by my foreman and his team.
From the booking procedure, to the clear communication, fast response times, and reasonable prices, this was just a fantastic experience.
We booked a few weeks in advance, and Renee got our required certificates of insurance for each building without hassle.
No deposit was required which made me nervous at first, but the communication was so good, I had little doubt they would show up as promised.
We moved from a very busy area with little parking, so they were running about 20 minutes late the day of the move, but their driver called me well in advance and told me where they were.
The move itself had its share of snags between the elevators going out in my building, and a doorman who was not handling stress very well that day. My foreman and his team handled things with professionalism and class the entire way.
They were quick, yet careful, and dressed professionally, and acted like total gentlemen the entire time.
When it was time to pay the bill, they were extremely generous by not charging me any extra time for the elevator delays, and even knocked off 15 minutes extra (on top of the time they were actually late) just to show good faith. I was so impressed, I gave them each an extra tip.
It's clear Renee has an awesome pride in her business, and hires and trains accordingly. I will DEFINITELY use these guys the next time I move in NYC

Lonestar was a great moving company! They arrived on time and packed up all my furniture and boxes efficiently.
Living in NYC makes moving and finding parking very difficult. They did not complain, but instead were joking around with us and having fun while working. They beat us back to the new house and the unpacking was very efficient. They even moved other things we asked them to that were already in the house. I definitely recommend them to anyone!

I had a huge residential moving job that consisted of a lot of very expensive and fragile items.
The thought of packing and tossing them in to a truck was nerve racking! I had no idea where to turn to get this job done and still have my property in one piece. My sister in law recommended Lonestar Moving and I decided to take her word for it. After all, she had experience moving and I did not. The minute the movers began to get to work I watched the whole time in horror, just waiting for something glass or porcelain to splatter across the floor. After the move when I unpacked everything and saw my items remained in their perfection, I could have hugged every mover! The relief I have for the safety of my items is beyond any words expression. Lonestar Moving is the best! Their crew, the owner and their professionalism shines throughout.

My husband and I used this company last week to move from Brooklyn, to Manhattan.
Simply put, I called several moving companies and Lonestar Moving made the choice of who to use easy. They were quick to respond, they gave the best price and were by far the most professional.
When moving day came they were right on time and packed our stuff into their truck much faster than they estimated. They were at our new place within the estimated arrival time and unloaded our stuff quickly too. Everything was in the same condition it was when we packed and not one thing broke. We don't plan on moving again anytime soon, but if we do we'll definitely be using them again!

My original moving date was scheduled for Monday, October 29.
Unless you live under a rock you know that was the day that Hurricane (now known as "superstorm") Sandy hit NY. My move was rescheduled to Friday, November 2. The afternoon before I received call from Renee because along with the devastation caused by the hurricane there was a gas shortage and they were having trouble locating gas for the truck. My foreman, Paul, was told how important it was for me to be able to move that Friday and he drove all the way to Connecticut to find gas! Paul called once he had filled the truck and confirmed my move would take place as scheduled. He arrived on time the next day with his crew. They worked very hard - never stopping to take a break - and were friendly, careful with my belongings and very strong (pianos are extremely heavy especially when being carried upstairs!). Nothing was damaged and the cost was reasonable. I was very pleased with Lone Star and (unfortunately!) have to relocated again in 8 months and plan on using them again for my next move. You won't regret hiring this company. They are professional and trustworthy and go that extra mile...something hard to find these days.

We used Lonestar Moving Company to move our furniture from a large 1 bedroom apartment into a storage unit a few months back.
The three guys doing the move were very efficient and took good care wrapping all of our belongings for its stay in storage. They let us keep the blankets (for a small deposit) in order to protect our belongings while in storage and make the move out quicker. It also allowed them to better stack our furniture without damaging it.
There pricing was a reasonable per hour charge for the truck and 3 guys. I have to say this was the best Brooklyn Moving Company I have seen in a long time. Renee in the office was fantastic and my foreman Paul made everything seem so easy and stress free. Go with these guys you will be happy!

Going back home was hard.
Thanks to the internet I found a great moving company. Lonestar Moving was Super Great. They were at my old address on time. They were fast, professionals and understanding to my special needs. I had a few items that needed to be very well crated. The delivery process was also as good as the pickup. My valuable items were not lost, damaged or broken. They reassembled everything they disassembled. And also took all the blankets of my furniture free of charge. It was a very smooth experience because of the great service.

This was my first experience using movers in the NYC area.
I selected Lone Star based on numerous positive reviews I'd seen elsewhere, as well as pricing that was much more competitive than other companies I'd researched. Renee was quick to reply to my initial quote request and was always very friendly during our interaction. On moving day, the movers (Steve and team) arrived promptly and were very friendly and professional. They had the truck loaded fairly quickly, but took care of my furniture and made sure everything was well wrapped and taped (which were included in the price!). Transportation and unloading into my new apartment was also relatively quick. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with their work, and will definitely contact them the next time I move.

Just for your knowledge, my tongue-in-cheek personal review of your team would be:
Carlos (the smaller, most vocal of the three) - super smart, very well read, very politically knowledgeable guy. A nice and respectful Dad who is pleasant to have walking though your space.
The tall new guy (can't remember his name) - very quiet but very sweet. A hard worker. Laughs at all your jokes. Will go far with Lonestar.
The soldier/experienced guy (can't remember his name) - a little more serious, but very respectful. Definitely the most knowledgeable of the three, and the one I'd trust the most with my fine china.
Overall, it was a great experience. A little more expensive than I thought, but very good. They were fast and flexible.

We used Lonestar Moving to move from Astoria to Manhattan Wednesday 7/25/12 everything was smooth, professional, top-notch, from start to finish.
As others have mentioned, from the on-site estimate to moving day, everyone we came into contact with from Lonestar Moving was kind and very efficient.
Despite the hefty hike up to our old place, I never heard anyone on the team complain, and they seemed to be as careful packing and wrapping furniture as they would have been with their own pieces.
All in all, it was the easiest part of the entire apartment-hunt and moving process, and I couldn't be more pleased and happy. And at the end, we came in under the lowest estimate Renee had originally given, which was a nice bonus.
In short, they're amazing! Highly recommended.

I’d like to write a testimonial for your moving company. The men were EXCELLENT! I don’t know if they told you the details of our move, but it was brutal. Complicated. 3 locations. Within one location, 5 flights of stairs and needing to move most of the pieces (by rope) from one terrace to another. When your chief guy walked in and saw what needed to be done, he was stunned. For a moment I feared that they would walk out on us. Leave the goods downstairs and make us fend for ourselves. Instead, they rolled up their sleeves, said ‘Let’s do this,’ and got it done. My boyfriend and I had 2 moves that had to be merged together, a stressful situation that really went very smoothly. At the moving consultants (Paul) recommendation we opted for the full pack, I highly recommend this option. It really made things go extremely smooth. The price seemed on the higher side when i first received the estimate but after getting low ball moving quotes on line and over the phone, I realized the price was right for what was needed and they were a respectable company with a lot of history in the NY market. These guys rocked!
I picked them because of their solid reputation and insurance, even though they are on the pricier end of the scale.
They are well worth it. After watching these guys work I would never recommend hiring a cheap mover as you get what you pay for.
I moved a 1 BR w/ alcove that was jam-packed with stuff into a 2.5 BR, both on the 3rd floor, about 5 blocks apart. I really wanted to be completely packed, and I was nowhere near that. They rocked it with their wardrobe boxes, and extra boxes on hand. They arrived early and got to work immediately!
3 guys moved my chaos (including a fridge) in about 5 hours. They worked like horses and carried about the weight of a horse on their backs, well, except the fridge. That they all helped with. :)
I am definitely hiring Lonestar Moving next time I have to move. THANK YOU LONE STAR!

My moving day was awesome.
Lonestar's movers were very professional, came right on time, worked hard non stop up and down to the 4th floor walk up. I have a lot of stuff for one person but they helped me move very efficiently. They know how to take apart furniture and put them back.
It's amazing how they strap 3 heavy boxes together and carry it all like a backpack! Amazing!
Excellent service and very reasonable and fair prices. They are true to their estimates.
Tips for people packing: try to pack things into medium sized boxes. No open, not squared packaging like stuffing all your random stuff into a laundry basket. And don't forget to label your boxes. If you pack well, things go very smoothly. You'll save time and money.
I would definitely use Lonestar Moving again and recommend them to friends.

Hi Renee, thank you for our move on Saturday April 7th.
Your moving company came well recommended to us by our friend who has used your company when they moved from NYC to Brooklyn.
Before signing a contract I spoke with a sales representative (Paul) to get a price estimate and information regarding the services provided by your company. Paul was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. He was the ultimate professional. I provided her with a list of the items we needed to move from one apartment to another. Paul provided me with a clear estimate which itemized everything we had talked about. We talked briefly about obtaining a certificate of insurance and he even reached out to our two buildings to make sure that we had the appropriate liability coverage - as it turns out one building required a much higher liability limit and he helped to discount the cost of the added COI.
On the day of the move the movers arrived on time and were extremely efficient. They were all uniformed, polite, and introduced themselves to us. Our larger items (couches, tv, tv stand, tables) were handled with great care and they were protected well by blankets and tape. We had several loose items - bags full of clothing, hangers, etc and they actually brought wardrobe boxes and put our loose items in there so that they would be protected and not lost. I thought that was a nice touch. I was even surprised by the initiative taken by one mover to disassemble one of our ikea bed frames. Not only was it done quickly, but he even reassembled it in our new apartment - perfectly. I was very impressed.

Just want you to know how pleased we were with my moither's move from the Bronx to Manhattan on Wednesday, March 21.
. The move went smoothly and seamlessly and was not at all stressful.
Jorge and his crew, Jonny, Brian and Chris, were very efficient, polite and courteous and worked at a quick pace. They faced obstacles, but were able to deal with them in a professional manner
The obstacles were:
Dealing with double parked cars in the Bronx.
5 flights of stair in the Bronx.
Heavy traffic due to Second Avenue subway construction work.
Closing of streets resulting in the truck parking about a block away.
A destination timeframe of 10 to 11:30 to move in -- Lone Star arrived around 11 a.m.. and was able to complete the job even though a smoke detector went off, and the fire department came and shut down the elevators for about 10 minutes. .
Once everything was moved in, Brian and Chris were great about putting things where we wanted them and assembling a bookcase.
It was a pleasure doing business with you, Jorge, Jonny, Brian and Chris. My friends and family know how pleased I am. If anyone needs a moving company recommendation, Lone Star will get very high accolades from me.

Good Morning Renee,
On Thursday, 3/1 my fiancée Kelly and I had Paul and Jason for our move from Levittown to West Babylon (with a pit stop in Bethpage).
I just wanted to follow up with you to let you know that they did a terrific job! We had more than a few large, bulky items that needed to be moved from a 2nd floor apt. through a narrow hallway (and cold, rainy weather all day on top of it). Not an easy job. The fellas got us all packed up and moved with no damage to any of our items or property. About the only problem I can find is that Paul is a Dallas fan.
Anyway, real nice job, we would highly recommend you to friends and family.

Lone Star was amazing.
They were on time, professional and very organized. I had a problem with my couch getting through my new apartment and they were so gracious to try every solution to make it fit. We finally had to pull the whole thing apart and rebuild it inside.
I am so grateful to Jorge and his team for going the extra mile for me.
Renee was a pleasure to deal with and the I found the entire process to be quick and easy. The only reason the final payment was higher than the quote is because of all the time it took to reassemble the couch which they didnt have to do at all but did.
I highly recommend Lone Star to anyone who has to move, big or small job, they were amazing.

The moving crew was friendly, professional, and arrived on time.
They worked swiftly but carefully. All items were safely transported with no damages. The overall move took less time than I expected because of their efficiency. They disassembled a couch that could not fit down my stairs and reassembled it at the destination. The movers were really excellent and made my moving day hassle free! The total price was $485.
They arrived to my old apartment and assured me that it would be quick and hassle free. They organized everything with the old apt building in new york city and the new apartment building in brooklyn. The amount came in less than anything I was quoted by other movers. Total move took 4 hours.Jorge was the foreman on the job and really took control and made sure it was hassle free. The other 2 men were very nice and executed the move very well. They all were simply the best group of movers I have ever used and I have moved a lot in the past few years. Let alone their rates were affordable for the high quality services they perform. I was impressed with all of their services their company had to offer. On top of moving me, they set up all my electronics and hung my mirrors and expensive paintings….This Queens Moving Company rocks. Their service was on point, there movers were professional and positive.

Never had a better experience in moving until I tried this Lonestar Queens Moving Company.
I was referred to them by a friend. She was very pleased with these guys, so I thought I'd give them a try. My entire moving crew were fantastic and pleasant. I had prepared for my move as best as I could. Unfortunately I was not 100% prepared. When my movers arrived they simply picked up where I left off. I had some random items laying around here and there, they grabbed a big wardrobe and put everything inside it. The furniture was wrapped in blankets, my fragile stuff was placed in bubble wrap, my mattress and box spring was covered and protected with covers and plastic wrap to ensure protection against bed bugs. I would say that is really professional and efficient . I have moved many times while living in New York City and I have to say this time around was the easiest and stress free move I have ever had. Last week we moved with Lonestar Brooklyn Movers as was very pleased with their services.
This Brooklyn Moving Company was not our first choice of movers as we hired another company which cancelled on us the day before. I won’t even get into that. So, I called Lonestar and spoke with Renee in the office, she was so helpful and nice. We went over all the details everywhere from our exact inventory, etc.
There were no hidden moving costs. She explained in full detail our hourly rate and how it worked. When our movers arrived, our foreman Jim sat down with us for approx 10 minutes and went over our rate and their services worked. This communication process really put our minds at ease. Once we signed our moving day began. It went smoothly, professionally and all our movers were very pleasant and careful.
I was so happy we used these Brooklyn Movers. After reviewing their website, I knew they would bring to the table exactly what they offer. Not only was this Moving Company extremely honest and professional, they take pride in their people and their clients.
Our foreman was in constant contact with Renee in the office so we were all on the same page. Even when we did not mention all the items, they did not get angry, they worked with us like a team. I would strongly suggest using these Brooklyn Movers as they are the best moving company New York has to offer.

I hired Lonestar Queens Movers for our Douglaston to Miller Place move.
The team that came to my apartment didn't miss a beat. They immediately went to work on the kitchen unfazed. I was happy to find a VERY reasonable bill for the packing costs, for which I'm grateful. The gentlemen that came to my home were friendly, professional, and, believe it or not, the President of the company Renee was so delightful and articulate I was so impressed. One of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. One of the best Queens Moving Companies New York has to offer. I'll absolutely use Lonestar Queens Movers when I move again. It's about time a woman runs a company in such a man's industry.

My wife and I would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to everyone at Lone Star Moving.
I have heard may horror stories about moving companies that lose items, break items, or end up costing twice what they estimated. Your moving company exceeded all expectations.
George was extremely patient and helpful with me as I rescheduled my appointment to move several times. On July 14th , my wife and I moved the contents of our apartment in Lindenhurst to our first home, also in Lindenhurst. We were originally scheduled to move the week before, but because of the delay in our closing date it was necessary to reschedule.
George, Johnny and Andrew were our movers. I can't say enough about these guys! They were friendly and took excellent care with our furniture. When we arrived at the new house it was quite a mess and your men cleaned and organized everything for us. They never complained about the mess or the fact that I have grand staircase to my front door with 22 steps! When they were done, the estimate that you provided me with was accurate, as she promised, there were no hidden charges!
Thank you and your entire staff your a stress free and positive moving experience.
My wife and I look forward to having Lonestar Moving handle my mothers move from Queens to Long Island. We plan to recommend Lonestar Moving to everyone.

We had one issue with a large couch -- new elevators were installed in our building and the couch no longer fit (no one's fault), but other than this, our move went off without a hitch. “I lived on Long Island my whole life so moving to Jersey was a big deal for me.
But like most Long Islanders know, NJ right outside of the city is a shorter commute, and it's just plain cheaper to live there. My salary goes much further working in NYC and living in Jersey. But I had to face the move and I hate the move. Besides the point I'm a pack rat and I had a pretty big place on the island... even a piano. I was afraid of the price so I called around and looked at Long Island moving reviews on the Internet and that's when I found LoneStar Moving LLC. I'm glad I did. They were the cheapest Long Island mover and NJ mover but you'd never guess it from their service. Their customer service agent Renee is extremely helpful.
